A dedicated charity committed to enriching the lives of children and young people with learning disabilities. At the heart of our mission is an unwavering belief in inclusivity and breaking down barriers.

Our home in Ystalyfera Community Centre acts as a hub for a diverse range of engaging activities and services that promote integration and personal growth. We prioritize the voices and needs of the children and young people we support, ensuring they remain central to everything we do.

Our Offerings:

  1. Empowering Services: We provide an array of volunteering opportunities that empower children and young people to actively participate in their community. By fostering a sense of belonging, we promote a more inclusive society for all.
  2. Diverse Activities: Our centre offers a variety of experiences. From our community library and resource lending service to our cutting-edge digital technology hub featuring 3D printing, we provide avenues for skill-building and creative exploration. Our “Culinary Adventures” are consistently popular too!
  3. Social Engagement: Nurturing friendships and social connections is crucial. Our stay-and-play sessions, gaming clubs, and other social activities create environments where meaningful relationships can flourish.
  4. Sensory Growing Garden: Enter our sensory growing garden—a serene space designed to engage the senses and foster a deeper connection with nature. It’s a place of tranquillity and growth.

At Pathfinders Cymru, our dedication lies in facilitating a brighter future for children and young people with learning disabilities. Together, we pave the way toward a more inclusive and integrated society. Join us on this journey of empowerment and transformation.
